Dr. Patty Ou

Dr. Patty Ou has been a physical therapist for over 15 years and a licensed acupuncturist for over 10 years. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Southern California in 2011, graduating with the Academic Achievement Award in Basic Science. She obtained her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture from Alhambra Medical University in 2015, graduating as the Valedictorian of her class. She achieved Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification from Herman & Wallace Institute in 2025, deeming her as a specialist in women’s and men’s pelvic health throughout the lifespan.

Her experience in physical therapy and acupuncture includes outpatient orthopedic conditions, treating joint pain and sports injuries; outpatient neurologic conditions, treating stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, and Multiple Sclerosis; outpatient balance and vestibular conditions, treating dizziness and vestibular hypofunction; and pelvic health diagnoses, treating women’s and men’s pelvic floor issues, such as urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, constipation, and pregnancy/postpartum rehab.

In acupuncture, Dr. Patty Ou treated patients with stroke, spinal cord injuries, Bell’s Palsy, post cancer treatments, sleep disturbances, joint pain and sport injuries, and women’s health issues.

Dr. Patty Ou is passionate about understanding patient’s physical, emotional, and social backgrounds, and empowering patients with knowledge and skills to make informed choices in their health journey. She is up to date on current research findings and best practice. She is adapt at problem solving and treating the whole person using an integrative approach. She incorporates Eastern and Western medicine perspectives while keeping sight of the ultimate goal: helping patient achieve their dreams and live a fulfilled life.
